Cynthia Washington, President of WCI, started a small consulting business in 1996 and was very happy fulfilling her dream of becoming a Business Owner. Upon entering the field of Government Contracting, she immediately learned of a "Big Problem" she had to solve: Small, Minority and/or Women-Owned Businesses (SMVWOBs) were not reaching the "Right" Contacts to WIN at Government Contracting and Government, Private Entities and Prime Contractors were frustrated taking "shots in the dark" with SMVWOBs.

She discovered that the task of "Connecting" SMVWOBs and Government, Private Entities and Prime Contractors was her "Ultimate" dream. That dream became reality when she created the WCI NetworkTM, designed to assist Government, Private Entities and Prime Contractors and SMVWOBs with "Connecting". She created the perfect solution: If the SMVWOBs are Pre-Screened and Qualified for Capacity before they "Connect" with Government, Private Entities and Prime Contractors, then these Entities will be able to choose from ALL SMVWOBs who are "Qualified", thereby, there are NO "shots in the dark". By building a Network of Government, Private Entity and Prime Contractors that WANT to do business with SMVWOBs and fulfill their Agency and Company Goals at the same time, WCI is able to help SMVWOBs with Expert Business Development Services that will ensure that they reach the "Right" Contact who will seriously consider them for Contracting Requirements. Darryl K. Washington, Sr., joined his wife in 2003 as CEO of WCI and added the missing pieces to the Concept. After spending 18 years in the Printing and Graphic Design Industry as a "Top-Notch" Troubleshooter and Trainer, he brought a wealth of marketing expertise and training abilities to WCI. Darryl is responsible for overseeing the WCI Team of Experts that "Screen and Qualify" our SMVWOBs for the WCI NetworkTM and makes certain that the criteria that we have designed is constantly able to match the needs of our Government, Private Entity and Prime Contractor Contacts.

He manages the Operation of WCI and all of the Contractors working with WCI. He is a product of a husband and wife entrepreneur team; watching his mom and dad run a successful business for 37 years. His wisdom and expertise in business has brought value and validity to the services WCI offers SMVWOBs. He always states that every SMVWOB working with WCI will HAVE to do what they said they could do, because our name is on the line, WASHINGTON!

  After devising the criteria by which we can assist firms seeking Government, Private Entity and Prime Contractor Contracting Opportunities, Darryl developed a system by which we could assist SMVWOBs who are "not quite ready".
